Thanks for reading fellas. Just a couple quick points.

– The domain name can be quite important but it’s not a sure-fire guarantee. You can work around that by using your file structure to get keywords into the URL.

– There’s some evidence out there now that the age of the domain name is important. There’s also some evidence that the future length of your domain name registration is important, with longer being better.

Nice article…I think there are numerous factors in determining your rankings. I have seen sites with no real inbounds ranking #1 in a fairly competitive vertical…you have to be doing many things right and continue to tweak and optimize every month imo.
